Test Print Labels Before You Run a Full Batch
A label that comes out crooked, faded, or in the wrong size usually isn’t caught until the whole batch has already printed. By then the fix means pulling every affected box, reprinting, and eating the wasted stock.
Station printers in PrepBusiness can now print a single test label before you commit to a full run, and the platform supports a new 6.67cm x 2.54cm barcode size alongside the existing options.
When One Bad Label Costs You a Whole Batch
Prep centers run label jobs at speed. A batch goes to the printer, gets applied to boxes, and heads out the door. If the printer’s alignment has drifted, the wrong stock is loaded in the tray, or a setting changed since the last job, nobody finds out until the labels are already on the shipment.
At that point the fix isn’t quick. Every affected box has to be pulled, relabeled, and rechecked, which costs staff time and delays the shipment. If a mislabeled box reaches a client’s inventory before anyone catches it, the cost isn’t only the label stock. It’s the client’s confidence in the warehouse, and for a prep center trying to win larger, higher-volume clients, that works against the track record you’re building.
Introducing Test Print for Station Printers
Station printers now have a print test label button. Print a single label, check it against the box, and confirm the printer is set up correctly before committing the rest of the batch to it, before any labels are wasted, not after.

Open the station printer you want to check and select print test label. A single label prints so you can hold it against a box and confirm the printer is set up correctly before running the full batch. Pick 6.67cm x 2.54cm from the label size options if that’s the stock you’re loading.
